Another game, another goal fest
We have become overly generous with the opposition lately, to the point where Sid helped by scoring yet another own goal.......
A truely awful game from the hoops, in terms of ability but an enjoyable game none-the-less.
NTL, once again in their famous black an white shirts, were as sporting as ever and the game was played with good spirit throughout.
Barnstoneworth started well and managed to hold the league leaders at 2-0 until the second half. With Dougs goal under constant threat throughout the game we managed only a couple of chances as we chucked hopefull long balls forward. Highlights of the game were Sids own goal, which occured as he attempted to clear a shot. And Kalvins continual shout of -pass and move- as he would stand and watch his passes.....Classic
Otherwise the whole evening was a complete and utter waste of time and would probably have been better spent at home waching the Germany/Holland game!
