ANOTHER FINE MESS

This week was an improvement, we had six players, which was nice......
University and injuries meant that the manager was down to the bare bones of the squad,
at least Sid had put some perspective back into his life by realising that football IS
indeed more important than his marriage.
Against NTL we began sluggishly and were soon 2 down as they found the route to Gav, in goal,
lightly defended. However this seemed to galvanise the team and Jack battled with their -keeper
and pulled a goal back. Not long after Mike went on bit of a run which ended with a fine goal.
At 2-2 we felt we could get something from this game only to be cruelly denied as NTL got a
3rd, 4th and 5th in the last 10 mins. To be fair, two of the last 3 were pants, Gav once again
let down by his defence as they ponsed about at the back.
