Match Reports

Well after two double headers over the Sunday/bank holiday period for the Sunday 1sts and another 90 mins for the Saturday 1sts sandwiched in between, some of our players had played 5 1/2 hours of football over the past 48 hours and were really feeling it! Nevertheless Bookham turned up and gave a decent performance grabbing 6 goals in each half. Jonny got 4 in the first half including some good finishes before going in goal for the second half. Bookham dominated possession throughout and had Criterion on the backfoot for most of the game but credit to the opposition they never gave up and kept going to the end scoring a couple of breakaway goals. We possibly could have scored more on another day but will settle for what was a comfortable win in the end. Thanks to Criterion for a fair game, good luck for the rest of the season.
