Match Reports

After a quite chaotic first half that left us 3-1 down, we really pulled it together in the second half. Unfortunately for every equaliser we made, APC had an answer for us.
We need to make sure we?re talking ? and listening - to each other. We often left our men leaving APC with an open shot, especially in the first half. Our passing needs to be sharper as we?d often just lose the ball unnecessarily. Other than that, we scored some great goals with some lovely movement, runs, passes and shots.

Gareth often made space for himself and looked to be a good threat in the first half.

Once Shaun settled down his passing, movement and shooting made us dangerous up front.

It was a tough second game for Matt, but once he?s got some more games behind him he?ll be a great asset to the team. Great ball control and play-maker in at least two of our goals.

Dave showed a glimpse of his former prowess with a scorching goal in the first half, but is still lacking confidence in his abilities. If we could support him more as a team that would help!

G pulled the team together and made some threatening runs of his own. If he could play more often I?m sure the goals would start flowing!

Andy had an abysmal game, basically allowing 3 of their goals to happen through shoddy defending. Must try harder!

Pete made some strong saves and none of their goals were down to poor keeping. Apart from a couple of loose throw-outs, a good game.
