Match Reports
A few new faces to the Fury side due to holidays and work bought about the win we
probably just edged.Delta started strongly, scoring within the first 5 minutes
whilst we were still gelling as a team. This then reversed and we started to play
some good football, moving the ball and attacking for and equaliser.Shame we all
left our shooting boots at home else by now it could have been 4 or 5.We did
however grab a couple in quick consession going into half time 4-1 up....i think!!

The second half started like we had finished the first scoring another and looking
comfortable on the ball. This however didnt last and found that delta could
attack....and attack they did.We were quite literally aweful at marking off the ball
and werent getting back quick enough which lead to delta grabbing 3 in 10 very
againising minutes. At this point the score was 6-5 but 30 seconds later a good
break by nixon brought our cushioned lead back.We should have put ourselves
in this position but we had the pace and scoring power to break away.

Special mention to paddy who kept us in the game with some fine saves....i know
you wanted to go on pitchbut none of us are good with gloves on!Also nixon for
getting 4 in his first match for the fury and setting up a fair few aswell.
One other thing....good goal you guys scored from the corner. How that went in i do not know!

A good clean fair match that we really enjoyed and are looking forward to the
rematch later in the year. The closest match that we-ve had so far.Good game lads!
A much improved performance in general but still a few silly mistakes which are costing us goals. Lets hope we can improve further for the next match. Well done to Cranlake and thanks for a well played and fair game, Good luck for the rest of the season.
