Match Reports
Well, 6 down at half time, we didn-t give a any effort anyway. Finshed 10 3, no wonder they have top scorers when they add some on. Bless. It-s a mens league so play like it. we were awful on night but it-s only a game. Role on the end of the season. A good win for Bookham and also a tale of two half?s really. We only had 6 for the first time in the season and had a couple of key players missing so to get a result like this is pleasing.

We started very hot and inform with some excellent team moves and individual goals racing into a 6-0 lead within the first 15-20 minutes. I think that the game started to get heated when England realised that they were pretty much out of it (at this point) and we received some harsh treatment from the opposition. There was an incident where our player was kicked a few times totally late and off the ball and one of our players reacted by kicking the ball at them (Which I am not condoning ? this was out of order). Handbags then ensued for the next few minutes until we managed to get the game going again. We agreed to try and let our football do the talking but for the next 10 minutes we felt like they were trying to kick and injure us and we got some kicks and wacks from them (which I feel like we didn?t deserve and to be honest that 10 minutes made me wonder what was the point of all this and England I think felt the same)

Fortunately at half time we agreed just to get on with it and try to enjoy it and that was what happened. It was 8-0 at half time and we were pretty knackered without a sub. We started the second half slowly and England got a few back early on. Second half was much more stretched than the first and was played in both half?s rather than the majority of the first which was in theirs. The game ended 13-3.

Next up FC Hammer who I am sure will want to exact some revenge from their loss in the friendly in the WC break.
