Fidessa 10 - 0 WWF

It-s the taking part that counts, and it counted 10 against before we all got to go home. A change of personnel after the efforts of last week didn-t refresh us quite as we-d hoped, but we stuck to our task even after the result was in the bag for the Premier league side. Were it not for the sterling efforts of Hugh in goal Fidessa could have doubled their tally. He was equal to a great close-range volley in the second half, but even Hugh was at a loss against shots fizzing with unerring accuracy into the corners of the net.
A good bunch of lads, Fidessa - obviously the more accomplished team, we wish them well for the rest of the cup.
