Sportsmanship is defined as: qualities and behavior befitting a sportsman. Sportsman is defined as: one who is interested in or takes part in sports. A person who can take loss or defeat without complaint, or victory with-out gloating, and who treats his opponent with fairness, courtesy and respect.
